Like every year we started 2005 wieder amoi a "Gravel Travel Tour". Desmoi we take the Tschechien Road´s unter die wheel´s.

We - that wos Trixi and Heinz, Elke and Peter with the lustigen dog Tharo, Uschi and Günther, Robert and last not least Biggi and Gerhard with theire offroadog Leni.

Am Samstag den 30. April we met us in Gmünd at the Bahnhofsplatz. Nearly pünktlich all members of the Tour arrived den Treffpunk at 9:00 am Vormittag. Heinz drives his Frontera with the Zeltanhänga, Peter comes with his Dicovery, Günther in his Cherokkee, Robert with the "Schnappimobile" a green Toyota and Gerhard with a Montery. All cars was voll onpockt with Gwand, Schlafsäck and Verpflegung for 6 days.

Nach the heartly Begrüssung the Konvoi go´s first over the österreichisch/tschechische Grenze (without irgendwöche Probleme) and over kloane Countrystreets we drive in Richtung Prachatice. The Wetter wos very Leinwand and the Sun scheinte and no Wolken woarn in the Sky. On the Funk we have glei am Start a echte Gaude.

So gegen 12:30 we make a little Lunchbreack on a parkingplace in the middle of a typisch tschechisch Wood. In shortest time the Campingklumpatt was ausgeladen. On the menücard we found Kabanossi, chees, paradeiser and bread. For the Durscht we have "0 , Josef" or other drinks without alcohol and an Coffe also.

Noch a paar Kilometer we see the Atomkraftwerk Temelin beetween blühender Cherrythrees on the Horizont. We make an kloan Stopp for Fotoshouting and we gfreiten uns on the beautifull Natur and we let our dog´s a bisserl Umadumfetzen. We also gfreiten uns on the nice Landschaft and haben unsere Fiaß a weng vertreten. The natur in the Springtime - oanfoch Superschön. After zirka 20 minutes we drive weida, and we comes near to the Kraftwerk.

One conversation on the Funk was:" Have a look on the left side ther are many Graugänse. And Günther´s answer was - No this are not Graugänse this are the Temeliner Spatzen".

Meantimes Biggi markierte the place behind the car and say:"So, now i feel mir wieder besser" .

At the evening we arrived our first Campingplace in Konopiste. A poar Fotos will coming soon weil i no koane hab. We have, after we are finish with building our Nochtlager, a verry good Dinner with Linseneintopf and Kasnudeln fresh from the Blechdosen. It was a funny evening and we sitting in the circel and all friends haben gscheid gred. At zirka 22:30 we kuschelten uns in the Schlafsäcke. Next day at 7:30 the Breakfast was planed. And ma solltet´s ned glauben also the Ingenieur Heinz cames out of his Anhängerzelt and look´s very well. Normaly was des ned, weil the Ingenieur sleeps on workingdays mindest till 9:00. The first out of the Schlafsack was Günther and Gerhard and this two beginn´s to rumoren and make a bisserl an wirbel with the Breakfastmaking. Gemütlich after coffee and Milchlaberln (Trixi prevere a Morningmüsli) we try to put all wieder inside the car and leave the Campingplace at 10:00 in direction Teplice.

A great story was the "Schlapfen-Story". I will explain . . . My allerbeste Biggi have forgotten meine Schlapfen at home. And therefore we try in mindest 35 Villages to buy same Schlapfen. And this is not so easy in Tschechien. Biggi didn´t found a typical "Schlapfenstore". But in Teplice there is a riesiges Shopingcenter and after zirka ana Stund inside this Shopingcenter i have new Schlapfen and the day was gerettet. Weil without Schlapfen my Biggi have never gegeben a Ruhe.

Leider gibt´s in the Tschechische Republik wie a bei uns at home many, many from the bad Taferln in the country. So we cannot drive on the wirklich schönen Streets. Naja- however schön wars trotzdem. Hin und wieder we found short "real roads" with a little bit of Gravel.

At one of our Campingplaces we have a great Problem. After the gmiatlichen Dinner so um zirka 21:30 mit an mächtigen Getöse starts a big Feuerwerk. Our offroaddog Leni is mordsderschrocken and run auf der Stelle away. All peoples are looking and searching to Leni many hours. But ned amoi a Spur from Leni. Biggi was searching the ganze Nacht but she didn´t found Leni. Next Day in the mornig we organisierten a konzentrierte Suche and after a halbe Stund Heinz give use by funk the info " i hobs gfunden" . Gott sei Dank then without our Leni we kunntatn ned drive home. Totaly verdreckt and mit eizogenem Schwanz Leni jumps in Gerhards car and everythink was wieder in Ordnung. Leider hab i no Foto of those action but its not so wichtig, hauptsache is, we have our Leni wieder back. Many thanks on this place for all die was mitgesucht haben.

We would like to visit the castel "Vchod do Hradu" aber there was not enough time. So we stopp just for a poar Minuten and have a look to the Innenhof and make a poar Fotos. The full Besichtigung hätte a ganze Hour gedauert.

Es woarn wunderschene Days with a Haufen creazy friends. Nothing is broken and no damages. No cooking Kühler our zerplatze Kühlerschläuche. We have many fun on our tripp and if you like you can be with use at one of our next Tours. Thanks to all die dabei waren ihr seids a supercrew gwesen. Schade that the days are so schnell vergangen.
